Student protest in Ganderbal over “unfair” evaluation
Ganderbal, 07 Jan: Dozens of students of government degree college Ganderbal on Saturday held a strong protest against the Kashmir University authorities over the alleged “unfair” evaluation of examination papers.
The students of government degree college Ganderbal staged the protest demonstration against the Kashmir University authorities, claiming that the authority there have allegedly resorted to the unfair means of evaluation in and 5th and 6th semester examination which were held recently.
The students of 5th and 6th semester alleged unfair evaluation of examination papers by Kashmir University authorities, says even the KU has not declared results of all subjects.
Talking to reporters ,a student of GDC Ganderbal said that Kashmir University is playing with our careers and it’s not for the first time that University has done this,” alleged one of the students. “Results are shocking as none of the student is satisfied with evaluation status, thereby leaving them worried.
He said how it was possible that their papers would be evaluated within two days and it seems the KU officials have just done the formality.
The protesting students appealed to the KU authorities to look into the matter and save their careers and demand the recheck and fresh evaluation.
