Karwan-e-Islam President Ghulam Rassol Hami unveils Waqf Board’s first-ever logo

Says logo full of Islamic symbols; Chairperson Andrabi says today is biggest day for Waqf Board

Srinagar, Sep 06 (KNO): President of Karwan-e-Islami, Ghulam Rasool Hami on Wednesday unveiled the logo of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board here in Srinagar. The logo was unveiled in presence of the Chairperson Waqf Board, Dr Darkshan Andrabi.

According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Hami while interacting with the media persons said that it is for the first time that the logo of Waqf J&K has been launched in which different Islamic symbols have been introduced.

“The logo is full of symbols, which is an indication of Tasawuf, Rohaniyat and other things. The Waqf Board has surely worked on it and I am happy to see the logo today,” he said.

The Waqf is functioning everywhere in the Muslim dominated places; he said that “we pray for the success of the board here in J&K.”

Andrabi while addressing media persons said that today is the biggest day for the Waqf Board as it was mandatory to have a logo like other boards to give it identification.

“We have pledged to keep ourselves away from the controversies and work for the betterment of the Islam. We will continue to work for the Islam with the guidance of Islamic jurists,” she said—(KNO)
