Ganderbal: Ganderbal Press association(GPA) today Inaugurated its office in main Town here in Ganderbal.
The office was inaugurated by GPA president Mr Aftab Ah Mir in presence of General secretary, Treasurer, Spokesperson & advisory body head, and other members of the association.
The new office will help the association to carry out day to day administrative work & ease their daily works.
Most of the member were present on the occasion and expressed their happiness.
Memebers felicitated Saleem Wani on being appointed as deputy Bureau head Gulistan news channel for Kashmir.
General secretary Mr Saleem wani briefed members about the achievements of association after the general body elections were held & some important decisions which were taken recently by the executive body of the association.
The secretary emphasized to follow professional standards of journalism by sticking to established ethical codes.
Advisory body head Mr sofi Ayaz also briefed about the achievements and professional conduct of the association. “If anybody is found indulging in any anti association activities, will be dealt very strictly, some people will try to break the association but we are ready to tackle it professionally”. If someone is found involved in taking Personal benefits in the name of association or involved in any anti social activities will be dealt very strictly, he added
