Srinagar, Aug 27 : Senior Journalist Syed Tajamul from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district is set to join the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday.
Speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Tajamul confirmed his intention to join the PDP, stating that the formal announcement will be made at the party’s headquarters in Srinagar at 11:30 AM.
“Yes, I am joining the PDP tomorrow at 11:30 AM at party headquarters in Srinagar,” he said.
Tajamul also expressed his hopes of securing a mandate to contest the upcoming elections for Bandipora assembly constituency.
However, he noted that the final decision rests with the party’s high command—(KNO)
