DC Shopian suspended three AEE’s for Dereliction of Duty in Snow Clearance Operations

Shopian, Dec 28 : The District Development Commissioner (DDC) of Shopian has suspended three Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) for absconding from duty during critical snow clearance operations in the district.

An official order issued by District Development Commissioner a copy of which lies in pissession of news agency JKNS reads, Whereas, the following three Assistant Executive Engineers have been found absconding and not available in Shopian district.

Susupended officers include Mohd. Noordin, AEE, SD Imamsahib, R&B Div. Zainpora, Zaffar Ahmed, AEE, SD, Ramnagri, R&B Div. Shopian and Mohd. Saleem, AEE, SD Hirpora, R&B Div. Shopian.

Whereas, on inquiry, the concerned AEEs intimated their locations as under, Mohd. Noordin: Chadoora, Zaffar Ahmed, Janglatmandi, Anantnag and Mohd. Saleem, Srinagar, it reads.

Whereas, the above action on the part of AEEs is unbecoming of a public servant and dereliction of duty that too during a period when whole administrative machinery of Shopian is involved in snow clearance and providing relief to the citizens.

Now, therefore, pending inquiry into their conduct by ADDC, Shopian, the above named AEES are placed under suspension and attached with the 24×7 Control Room Shopian. They shall reach the control room forthwith. No salary in their favor shall be drawn by the concerned DDOs till conclusion of inquiry followed by departmental action, reads the order.
