Live for Others-Being Helpful Foundation Conducts 3rd Mega Donation Drive.

Srinagar 17 Feb : Become A Winter Soldier and Share The Warmth” is an initiative taken by Live For Others-Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) with the support of Adoration Holidays (The travel company) and Shahid Jeelani (Photo Journalist) in which they distributed around 60 Blankets, and warm stuff such as Gloves, Caps, Socks, Sweaters, etc among under privileged sections at Bemina, near Children Hospital, Srinagar, J&K.

LFO-BHF (NGO) takes up the challenge of taking care of helpless people during the harsh winters. Each winter calls for a blankets and warm stuff and this donation campaign is carry forwarded by LFO-BHF NGO in which this NGO tries to reach out to every possible person in need during winters and provide them with the warm comfort of a blanket.

Members of LFO-BHF also conducted a SANITARY NAPKINS distribution drive under the initiative of MENSTRUATION – A Taboo In Society. It was donation cum awareness drive in which around 800 oxy-biodegradable sanitary napkins were distributed and this awareness programme was organised to raise the knowledge about menstruation hygiene.

On speaking with Mr. Aamir Muzaffar Shah, President of LFO-BHF, Kashmir Province, said, “A core value at LFO-BHF (NGO) is giving back to those less fortunate. Now, more than ever, we must come together and support the communities that have been badly hurt by the medical and economic damage. “

On speaking with Ms. Maroofa Shah and Afreen Barkat, Urfee Yousuf, are members of LFO-BHF, said, “LFO-BHF believes we are stronger together and better. We believe in a world of equality and opportunity for everyone. Moreover, in INDIA, menstrual health and hygiene is still considered a taboo subject, leaving women exposed to misinformation and mytha associated with menstruation and its our job to clear the myths and doubts related to this sensitive topic.

Members who were present in this mega donation drive were Ajaz ahmad, Afreen barkat, Urfee yousuf, Hadi, Shaid Showket, Rizwana gulzar, Unais , Aisha farhana, Faizan illahi, Sahil, Saqib Rehman and many more .
