313 Km road stretch cleared of snow in Ganderbal so far
27 JCB’s and 23 tractors on job to clear snow from roads: Executive Engineer R&B Tatheer Manzoor

Ganderbal 30 Jan (KNZ):After heavy snowfall in Ganderbal,R&B department continues snow clearance operation in Ganderbal District since early morning.
Executive Engineer R&B Tatheer Manzoor told Kashmir News Zone-KNZ that snow clearance operation continues and the road length requiring clearance is 650 km and till now 313 km have been cleared.
He said In the Ganderbal sub-division, we have cleared 125 km of road length, 98 km in Lar sub-division, and 90 km in Kangan sub-division.
He said that 27 JCBs and 23 tractors were on job and in sone stretches where machines couldn’t work,we have deployed men power as well.
Executive Engineer said the administration is closely monitoring the situation and providing all necessary assistance to keep the roads safe and clear for the residents.
Due to continuously snowfall in Ganderbal,we will continue clearance operation till all roads will be cleared.KNZ
