Patient care suffers at PHC Kachan;doctors, hospital staff absent from Duty

Ganderbal 16 Feb (KNZ):The absence of doctors in Primary Health Centre kachan of Ganderbal district has become cause of concern for the people of the Kachan area.
The people alleged that Primary Health Centre remained deserted most of the time as doctors deputed never reach on the time.
“When KNZ News team went to PHC Kachan in the morning, we were shocked to see that there was 1 doctor available in the health center out of 6 doctors and doctor’s room and other staff room was found empty.
The doctors and other staff adopt laxity in discharging their duties due to which people have to face huge difficulty.
“PHC Kachan caters service to people of two dozen villages who solely dependent on this health center.
