Muzamil Mehmood young & Prominent Social Activist & Sports Activist from Kashmir Valley
Budgam: A 25 years old Muzamil Mehmood, who has changed lives of thousands of Kashmiries and has become an inspiration for the youth of valley.
Muzamil Mehmood started his schooling from Govt. Boys primary School Mala Manchhama and then he went to Middle School Meeripoora. He passed his matriculation from Govt. Boys High School Chewdara and 10+2 from Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Beerwah. He graduated from Govt. Degree College Beerwah.
Muzamil Mehmood who hails from Manchhama Tehsil Beerwah District Budgam is doing amazing Social Works in terms of Conducting sports events, holding blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and drug de addiction events and providing medicine to poor and needy of general public.
Muzamil Mehmood was in toughest times after losing his father in teens. Despite all odds he continued his education and even supported his siblings.
Muzamil Mehmood while talking to Media said “the main Motive behind all these activities is only to involve youth in sports activities and to show society a way forward to live a drug free life to save future generations of the country in general and Kashmir Valley in particular”.
He added that “if we talk about the Kashmir valley there are so many international players and gold medalists like Parvaiz Rasool, Umran Malik, Abdul Samad and Nayeem Malla, when these people have played at international level why cannot others do so at national and international level.
Muzamil Mehmood further expressed that purpose of organizing Cricket tournaments and many other events is to support youth and to encourage them, so that youth can also participate in national as well as international level and make their career bright in sports and different fields and to divert their mind from Drugs to sports and other professions.
From 2016 till now he worked tirelessly and has conducted many events like cleanliness drives, blood donation camps, cannabis destroying drives, drug de addiction, women empowerment, free medical camps and even organising Cricket tournaments, Marital arts events and Cycle road race. During the Covid19 he distributed masks and free medicine for poor and needy people and even he has done door to door campaign to spread awareness Regarding Covid19 precautions.
Muzamil Mehmood a young and prominent social activist aim to bring the change in a society, where situation demands to contribute more for the welfare of people at large. He taught in real terms how to be a sensible and responsible member in a society. He desire is that nothing is much worthy than being helping hand towards the society. Living in a civilized society tends you to learn a lot and it provides many opportunities to do something better for the people of the society. Being a social activist in the country has a great role because this country do adhere the grievances of people by virtue of the social activism.
Muzamil Mehmood has also created a team of youth to bring positive change in the society and is also providing better platforms for the talented and bright students to express their talent. Muzamil Mehmood is role model for youth and inspiring for society.
