Beerwah- Neglected Headquarter

Budgam 09 March 2023: (JKNL) Beerwah is the oldest Town and also the first Tehsil and was known as Tehsil Ranbhir Singh even before District Budgam came into existence. Beerwah achieved Tehsil Status due to one of the veteran personalities of the soil namely Sir Syed Sani Syed Ali Shah Bukhari.

He is still remembered due to his selfless service to the society and everyone from Allaqa Beerwah loves him. He was a Reformer, Educationist, social worker, politician, social Activist, Religious preacher, spiritual leader and a visionary. He used to held regular courts and solve disputes, he was a just leader. Under his leadership Beerwah was granted sub-district status in 1970 but was not fully implemented. Beerwah-Magam road was first Mettled by this man and made transport facility reach beerwah and ensured opening of all other Govt. Offices.

Modern Beerwah Needs Development.

1-) As new proposals are submitted but due to non availability of land, all stands still. Therefore we youth of this area Demand restoration of preavious town limits or town limits be expanded and extreamly near Villages Like Arwah, Degree College Road Lalpoora ,Sonapah, left Out Syedpora and Chewdara be included within Beerwah Town.

2-) Social Institutions of this area be strengthened and advisory Council be Formed of Retired experienced and successful employees, other Professional Civil Society Members, and Religious Scholars, Modern Education Scholars, writers, Thinkers etc.

3-) Youth Activism Group be formed who will take Suggestions from Advisory Council time to time to engage into a parallel atmosphere where Development takes lead role.

4-) Youth along with Advisory Council should after deep discussion, look for young men with Leadership Qualities so that the area won’t suffer.

5-) All are requested to participate on the developing platform so that Town limits be increased or expanded at an earliest and the hindrance which occurs sometimes be cleared (JKNL).
