8 including four local female sex workers arrested as prostitution racket busted in Srinagar:- Police
Srinagar, April 03 (KS) :- Police on Monday evening claimed to have busted Prostitution racket in Bagh-e-Mehtab area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Srinagar police in a tweet as per Kashmir Scroll said that 8 persons including four local female sex workers were arrested in Srinagar.
Case has been registered and further investigation has been taken up, police said.
“A prostitution racket in a rented accommodation at Bagh-e-Mehtab busted. 2 persons running this arrested, Irshad Ahmad Bhat of Pampore, Mohd Shafi Hajam of Karimabad Pulwama. 4 female sex workers (all locals of Srinagar) & 2 customers detained.
