Srinagar 17 April(KNB): The Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakhshan Andrabi on Monday said that histroic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar is not under direct control of J&K waqf Board as local Auqaf is taking care of it.
Darakhshan told news agency KNB that, it should be under waqf Board instead of local Auqaf and what so ever issue is there that is directly under control of local Anjuman Auqaf.
“Waqf Board can’t interfere in the issue related to jamia Masjid till it is under control of local Auqaf,” Darakhshan said.
Meanwhile, Darakhshan further said that, all the preparation are completed for Shab-e- Qadr for devotees as we are expecting large number of gathering.(KNB)
