Man allegedly stabbed his mother in Anantnag
Police in South Kashmir’s Ananthnag district on Wednesday said to have arrested one accused who allegedly stabbed his own mother this evening.
Reports said that a man stabbed his own mother at Batengoo area of Anantnag. However, after receiving the information, a police team rushed to the spot and within no time arrested the accused person.
They said that the victim (name withheld) has been taken to a nearby hospital, where she has been referred to GMC Anantnag for advanced treatment.
The accused has been identified as Javid Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Dar.
A case in this regard has been registered, and further investigation has been initiated. KS
