Shopian, Oct 15 (KS) ; A devastating hailstorm wreaked havoc in various areas of South Kashmir districts on Sunday evening.
Reports reaching News Agency Kashmir Scroll, said that natural calamity occurred on Sunday evening, causing substantial damage to apple orchards, as well as other vegetable crops in the southern region of Kashmir.
The affected areas encompassed Behinag, Kaprin, and Kanjiullar villages, among others, with these locations suffering the brunt of the hailstorm’s impact.
The intensity of the hailstones was such that it resulted in significant harm to the agricultural sector of the region sources said.
