Baramulla, Oct 19 (KS) : A marriage function took an unfortunate turn when twelve individuals fell ill after consuming Wazwaan, a traditional Kashmiri cuisine.
Sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the incident occurred in the Singapora area of Baramulla, leaving the attendees hospitalized and requiring advanced treatment at GMC Baramulla.
According to sources, the affected individuals began experiencing health issues shortly after consuming the Wazwaan. It is suspected that the food may have been contaminated, resulting in food poisoning. However, it is worth mentioning that all of the individuals who fell ill are currently in stable condition after receiving medical attention at GMC Baramulla.
Meanwhile, a police officer told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that upon hearing of this incident, the police in have taken cognizance and are investigating the matter further. (KS)
