A nationwide campaign witnessed the enthusiastic participation of civil society members and locals.

During the event, resource persons underscored the significance of various welfare schemes. An Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van was utilized to showcase remarkable success stories of beneficiaries thriving under multiple schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), UMEED, Kisan Credit Card (KCC), Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kissan), Poshan Abhiyan, and others.

He urged the local youth to embrace self-employment schemes with a sense of optimism and determination for sustainable livelihoods.

Highlighting the scope under various self-employment schemes, the Director said that sericulture is emerging as a promising sector and inspired the youth to consider silk farming and related activities as viable career options.

The ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani’ segment showcased impactful firsthand accounts from beneficiaries, highlighting the tangible benefits and positive changes brought about by the government’s welfare programs.

The program at the Town Hall became a hub of aspirations, as young minds absorbed the insights shared on self-employment schemes and the immense potential within agriculture and its allied sectors.
