GANDERBAL 20TH JANUARY, 2024: Ganderbal Police arrested a notorious Drug Peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Safapora & recovered Contraband Substance from his possession. On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqr’s Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS, Police party led by SHO PS Safapora Gulzar Hussain
raided the residential house of Javaid Ahmad Laharwal S/O Late Ab Gaffar Laharwal R/O Kondabal. In pursuance of a reliable input during search, Contraband Substance, heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of Javaid Ahmad Laharwal S/O Late Ab Gaffar Laharwal R/O Kondabal.
The recovered Contraband Substance was seized in presence of Executive Magistrate First Class & the accused was arrested.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 02/2024, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Safapora & further investigation taken up.
General Public have appreciated the efforts of Ganderbal Police in curbing the Drug Peddlers. The stringent action against menace of Drugs shall continue in future & culprits will be dealt under the relevant sections of law.
