Srinagar, Feb 04: The Srinagar-Jammu highway was on Sunday restored partially after remaining closed for the vehicular movement for couple of hours.
The highway was thrown closed after landslides occur in Kishtwar area along the highway.
In a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Jammu-Srinagar NHW partially restored at Kishtwari Pather, Banihal (single way).
“Stranded vehicles are being cleared on regulated manner. Weather is snowing between Ramsoo and Banihal, raining on whole NH-44,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, people are advised to avoid journey on NH-44 till the weather improves and the road is clear—(KNO)
