Ganderbal, 05-Feb: Ganderbal Press Association (GPA) has condoled the sad demise of the father of Senior Journalist and President of Press association Aftab Ahmad Mir associated with Punjab Kesari.
Ghulam Rasool Mir resident of Waheedpora Ganderbal Father of Senior Journalist Aftab Ahmad Mir passed away today at Distt hospital Ganderbal after a brief illness.
GPA has termed his death an irreparable loss and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
The members of the Association led by General secretary Saleem wani and Advisory body head Sofi Ayaz visited Waheedpora and prayed for the eternal rest to the deceased and prayed Almighty to give the entire family courage to bear the irreparable loss.
The delegation while expressing their profound grief said that the entire Ganderbal Press Association stands in solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief.
