Sumbal, Feb 06 (KS): A driver from Punjab died apparently due to a heart attack in the Sumbal area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday morning.
Sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that one truck driver identified as Ashok Kumar resident of Punjab aged around 50, suddenly had pain in the chest at the Food Cooperation India Store in the Shilvat area of Sumbal.
He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
A police officer told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the body has been taken to CHC Hospital Sumbal for medical formalities. The officer further said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been set into motion. (KS)
