Pattan, Feb 09 (WS/VP) ; A 20-year-old girl from north Kashmir’s Pattan village with biotechnology background has released her debut poetry book titled “The Picture of Many Feelings.”
“Commencing her academic journey from Public High School English Medium Wanigam, Bisma navigated through higher education, culminating a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal Central University. Yet, her path took an captivating twist , leading her into the realm of writing. Transitioning from scientific foundations to the artistry of words, Bisma’s transformative journey is a testament to her diverse and remarkable path of self-discovery.”
In a candid talk with the Web Story/The Varmul Post Correspondent, Bisma said the debut Poetry collection talks about human emotions, rich tapestry of Kashmiri culture, self-love, bondings, and the relationship with the father. “The language used in the book is lucid,” .
Bisma said “The book is a collection of 60 poems, a soulful journey through my thoughts and feelings that I was able to complete in just 25 days. It has been my way of venturing beyond the realms of science and embracing my creative voice as a writer. Through my writing, I aim to bring a soothing touch to all unrested minds, offering a tapestry of inspiration and positivity.
She said expressing emotions through written words is the labor of transforming inner struggles into sentences, as I realized that paper possesses more patience than people. It became my confidant in the absence of a friend to share everything with in idle moments, and the liberation felt as burdens are transferred from heart to page.
I am grateful to my parents for their unwavering support in every aspect of my creative journey. They have always stood by me, providing unwavering assistance whenever I needed it. I have been immersed in writing and art since childhood, with a fondness for singing and finding solace in travel. From a young age, I set sail toward visual art and have evolved into a reputable artist. My book is also available on different platforms such as Flipkart, Notion, and Amazon Bisma added.
