Nuzhat’s Spiritual Evolution: Inspiring Path of Khambiyar-Pattan’s Grad from Hafiz-e-Quran to Visual Artist

Pattan, 11 February : A Twenty-four-years old, Nuzhat Nazir, a devout Hafiz-e-Quran hailing from Khambiyar Pattan, has left an indelible impression on the realm of art through her captivating Islamic artwork,despite lacking formal training, her self-taught mastery bears testament to the divine inspiration that guides her hand, infusing her creations with profound spiritual resonance and breathtaking beauty.
In a candid conversation with The Kashmir Publication, the self-taught artist Nuzhat Nazir said from childhood, i was ignited with a divine flame, yearning to express through the strokes of artistry
Nuzhat’s remarkable journey from obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in commerce to becoming a Hafiz-e-Quran and ultimately blossoming into a visual artist is a testament to the profound depth of her faith and the boundless potential bestowed upon her by the Almighty.
“She has been passionately engaged in artwork since childhood, with a penchant for drawing and painting, she drawn towards visual art at a very tender age,since then she developed herself into an artist of repute”, said a family member.
Nuzhat says, that i have no formal training in art and painting, the nuances were picked up by herself and fine-tuned his craft through experimentation, she added
Earlier i was drawing sketch of flowers, animals on notebook and some realistic portraits, but i quit making portraits because drawing potrait of any human is prohibited in islam and now i am drawing Islamic verses on Canvas , Resin art, Paintings, Calligraphy frames, Tote bag Painting and T-shirt designing”, said Nuzhat.

Islamic paintings has always fascinated me, i feel peace when i wrote Islamic name and Quran verses in paintings, she said,adding that i am thankful to my parents who supported me everytime whenever I need something for my art and at the time of participation in competitions which were held across the Valley, they supported me well.
She further said that, on daily basis i receive the calls from different areas even the people from outside also contact me and demand my work , “The youth in rural areas have a lot of talent but due to lack of financial support it goes waste”,she sighs.
“Hidden talent in valley needs to be encouraged and government should provide platform for talented youths in their field,” she added
