Srinagar, Feb. 12 (KS): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today summoned National Conference president and former Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah for questioning in connection with alleged financial irregularities in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).

Reliable sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the summons have asked Abdullah to depose at the ED office in Srinagar tomorrow.

In 2022, a chargesheet was filed against Farooq Abdullah in a money laundering case related to the alleged financial irregularities in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.

The Enforcement Directorate, which filed the charge sheet, has questioned Abdullah several times. The three-time chief minister had also recorded his statement in the same case in 2019. (KS)
