Prime Minister Modi Announces Reduction In LPG Cylinder Prices On Women’s Day

In a significant move marking International Women’s Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to announce a reduction in LPG cylinder prices by Rs 100. The decision, aimed at alleviating the financial strain on households, particularly benefiting women, underscores the government’s commitment to empowering women and promoting their well-being.

“Today, on Women’s Day, our Govt has decided to reduce LPG cylinder prices by Rs 100. This will significantly ease the financial burden on millions of households across the country, especially benefiting our Nari Shakti,” tweeted Prime Minister Modi.

The reduction in LPG cylinder prices is expected to provide relief to millions of households grappling with rising living costs. By making cooking gas more affordable, the government aims to support the well-being of families while also fostering a healthier environment.

“This is in line with our commitment to empowering women and ensuring ‘Ease of Living’ for them,” Prime Minister Modi affirmed in his tweet.

The decision reflects the government’s dedication to promoting gender equality and improving the quality of life for women in India. As the nation commemorates International Women’s Day, the reduction in LPG cylinder prices serves as a tangible demonstration of support for women’s empowerment and economic stability.

This move is likely to be welcomed by households across the country, particularly those led by women, as it offers tangible financial relief and reinforces the government’s commitment to their welfare.
