Srinagar, March 22 : An onduty assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Jammu and Kashmir Police died after he fell unconscious in Abiguzar area of Srinagar this afternoon.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that an ASI of Jammu and Kashmir Police identified as Mushtaq Ahmad, a resident of Karnah Kupwara fell unconscious during duty in Abi guzar this afternoon.
They said he was shifted to PCR hospital for treatment, however, he was declared brought dead at the hospital.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and preliminary investigations reveal that he died of cardiac arrest.
