Baramulla:27August:In a tragic incident, Amir Ahmad Khan, an 18-year-old labourer from a poor family in Kanispora, Baramulla, lost his life due to an electric shock while working on a borewell water pump.

Amir Ahmad Khan, son of Mohammad Amin Khan, was carrying out his daily labour to support his family. The young father, whose son is just 15 days old, had been working tirelessly to ensure his family’s survival. However, around 5 PM today, while handling the borewell motor, Amir received a fatal electric shock, rendering him unconscious. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla, where doctors tragically declared him dead on arrival.

Following the necessary medical formalities, Amir’s body was handed over to his family for the final rites. Meanwhile, the police have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.

Amir’s sudden passing has left his family in deep grief and financial distress. His wife, along with their newborn son, now faces a difficult future without their sole breadwinner.

The local community has expressed heartfelt sympathy for the family and has urged people to extend any possible help to support Amir’s wife and infant son in these tough times.
