Poonch, Feb 27 (JKNS): Two people lost their lives after a stone hit a Scorpio car near Dherian Ziarat on the Surankote-Poonch Highway on Thursday.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the incident occurred due to continuous shooting stones in the area. Rescue teams rushed to the spot, but both occupants had already succumbed to their injuries.
Authorities have launched an operation as stone shooting continues, posing further risks to commuters. Travelers are advised to exercise caution while passing through the affected stretch. (JKNS)
