Ganderbal, March 21, 2025 – On the occasion of the International Day of Forests, also known as World Planting Day, Bilal Bhat, Campaigner, Social Reformer, Motivational Speaker, and Director of Go Green Ganderbal, appeals to the public—including schools, colleges, universities, and the general public—to actively participate in plantation drives and contribute to a greener future.

Bilal Bhat, an environmental cum Social activist since 2008, has been at the forefront of forest conservation, afforestation, and environmental awareness. He has successfully planted 1 lakh trees annually in collaboration with the Department of Social Forestry, Department of Floriculture, Wildlife Department, District Administration, and Tehsil Administration. His continuous efforts focus on environmental protection, restoration, and conservation to combat climate change and ensure a sustainable future.

Bilal Bhat urges everyone to join hands in this noble cause and make #PlantationDrive2025 a success. By planting trees today, we secure a healthier tomorrow for generations to come.
