Srinagar, March 26 A young motorcyclist lost his life in a road accident in the Taingan area of Nowgam, Srinagar, on Tuesday late evening.
The victim, identified as Salman Ahmad Malik, son of Mohammad Iqbal Malik from Kulgam, sustained critical injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
He was immediately taken to Ujala Cygnus Hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.[KNT]
