JK News Live

Ganderbal, 10th April 2025: In a major crackdown against individuals involved in anti-national activities, the Ganderbal Police have attached immovable property valued at ₹3.47 crore in a UAPA case. The action pertains to agricultural land measuring 09 Kanals and 07 Marlas belonging to three individuals who had illegally exfiltrated to Pakistan to receive arms and ammunition training.

The properties attached belong to Firdous Ahmad Wani, son of Late Gh Ahmad Wani, resident of Treesa Safapora; Mohd Ramzan Bhat, son of Late Gh Rasool Bhat, resident of Batpora Safapora; and Mohd Ayoub Ganie, son of Late Gh Rasool Ganie, resident of Pahlipora Safapora.

The attachment was carried out following an order passed by the Honorable Court of Additional Session Judge Ganderbal in connection with Case FIR No. 48/2009 under Section 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, registered at Police Station Kheerbawani.

This significant action highlights the Ganderbal Police’s firm resolve to deal sternly with elements indulging in unlawful activities that threaten public safety and national security. It serves as a strong deterrent against those contemplating similar acts and underscores the zero-tolerance policy of law enforcement authorities.

Officials reiterated that such measures will continue to be pursued vigorously to safeguard peace and uphold the rule of law.
