MOOL Opens Applications for ‘RISE UP: The Sustainable Kashmir Fellowships 2025–26’
JK News Live

Srinagar, June 2, KNT: The MOOL Sustainability Research and Training Center, based in Ganderbal, Kashmir, has announced the launch of applications for its flagship programme — RISE UP: The Sustainable Kashmir Fellowships 2025–2026.

Designed to empower Kashmiri youth with purpose-driven leadership and ecological entrepreneurship skills, this exclusive seven-month fellowship is now accepting applications until June 10, 2025.

Supported by Royal Enfield, the fellowship offers an intensive, hands-on learning experience from July 2025 to February 2026, with only 10 fellows selected through a competitive process. The programme includes residential training in Kashmir, field immersion in Himachal Pradesh, and a two-month internship with partner organizations in the Valley.

Fellows will receive expert coaching, mentorship from social entrepreneurs, and a monthly performance-based stipend. The programme aims to nurture future leaders capable of driving ecological and social transformation in Kashmir.

Last year’s fellows described the experience as “transformative” and “deeply enriching,” citing personal growth, exposure to diverse perspectives, and practical impact as major takeaways.
Eligible applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old, committed to full-time participation, and driven by a desire to serve their communities and environment.
