Farole Pashkum, August 14, 2025 (19 Safar Al-Muzaffar 1447 AH) —
In a moving tribute to the eternal sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his noble companions, the students of Daarul Quran Hazrat Sakina Bint-Ul Husain (A.S.) organized a large-scale Sabeel-e-Imam Hussain (A.S.) along National Highway No. 1D in Farole Pashkum today.
Held in the lead-up to Arbaeen-e-Hussaini (A.S.), the initiative served as a living reminder of the thirst and suffering endured by the martyrs of Karbala. With heartfelt devotion, young students distributed thousands of cups of water and refreshments to travelers, truck drivers, and passersby on the busy route. Parents and guardians actively joined the children, ensuring the sacred tradition was carried out with care and dignity.
> “This Sabeel is our humble attempt to follow in the footsteps of the Ahlul Bayt (A.S.),” one organizer shared. “By serving water in remembrance of Imam Hussain (A.S.), we hope to keep alive the message of Karbala — the call to stand against oppression and uphold truth and justice.”
The service drew an enthusiastic response from the community, with many travelers expressing gratitude for both the physical refreshment and the spiritual reminder of Hussaini values. Young volunteers also took the opportunity to explain the significance of Arbaeen and the timeless lessons from the tragedy of Karbala.
Reaffirming their commitment as followers of the 12 Imams (A.S.), the organizers pledged to continue translating the principles of Imam Hussain (A.S.) into acts of service, compassion, and justice. This Sabeel stands as a testament to the living legacy of Ashura, which continues to inspire generations across the world.
