GANDERBAL 05th September 2025: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society, Ganderbal Police apprehended a drug peddler during routine patrolling at Preng in the jurisdiction of PS Kangan.
A police party intercepted a suspicious person, who was later identified as Farhad Khan S/O Mohd Arifeen Khan R/O Gujarpati Preng. During his personal search, Contraband charas-like substance was recovered from his possession on the spot.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 58/2025 under sections 08/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kangan and investigation has been set into motion.
