Kupwara, October 05: Sufi Tahir, Provincial President of the Youth Peoples Conference, today convened his maiden youth meeting at his residence in Sohipora, Kupwara. The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation of young members and supporters from different political ideologies.
While addressing the gathering, Sufi Tahir underscored the importance of active youth involvement in the political and developmental processes of Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that the future of the region lies in the hands of educated, responsible, and socially aware youth who must step forward to play a constructive role in shaping a progressive and inclusive society.
Emphasizing the role of the Youth Peoples Conference as a platform for young voices, he encouraged participants to work collectively at the grassroots level to strengthen democratic values and promote good governance.
He further reiterated his commitment to empower youth through leadership opportunities and capacity-building initiatives that focus on employment, education, and community development.
The event concluded with a pledge to expand youth outreach programmes across Kupwara and adjoining areas in the coming months.
