GANDERBAL 15th, OCTOBER 2025: District Police Ganderbal today conducted a mass disposal drive of the seized drugs. The District Level ‘Drug Disposal Committee, Ganderbal’ under the directions of SSP Ganderbal, destroyed huge quantity of the seized drugs and psychotropic substances, worth lacs.
The contraband and psychotropic substances that were seized in 23 NDPS Cases of district Ganderbal were disposed off, after obtaining proper permission from the competent court, through incineration method at Kashmir Health Care System, IGC Lassipora.
These contraband Substances were destroyed under the supervision of Dy.SP Hqr’s Ganderbal, in the presence of the magistrate.
The mass disposal of seized drugs is a significant step towards our commitment to eradicate drug abuse from the society. District Police Ganderbal will continue to work tirelessly to combat the drug abuse and ensure a safer and healthier environment for our citizens.
