Plantation Drive combined with a vibrant Cultural Event at Government Boys High School Barsoo, Awantipora by IRP 23BN.

Today IRP-23rd Battalion organized an impactful Environmental Plantation Drive combined with a vibrant Cultural Event at Government Boys High School Barsoo, Awantipora under Civic Action Programme (CAP). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation including students, teaching staff, Forest Department employees, and other esteemed members from the local community.
Shri. Bakir Samoon IPS CO IRP23 BN. Shri. Gh. Hassan JKPS Dy. CO IRP23 BN. and other officers pleaded for the collective efforts by Police and community for our better tomorrow.

Addressing the gathering, Sh. Bakar Hussan Samoon-IPS (Commandant IRP-23rd Battalion) lauded the collaborative efforts and overwhelming response of the students and school staff.
The initiative aimed to foster environmental awareness and promote cultural heritage among the youth and local residents. The plantation drive was spearheaded in collaboration with the Forest Department, highlighting the need to conserve the environment and inspiring the attendees to contribute actively towards building a greener future.
