AZAD Dramatic & Cultural Club Organizes 3-Week Children’s Theatre Workshop in Ganderbal

Ganderbal 22 Dec 2025: AZAD Dramatic & Cultural Club (ADCC) has organized a three-week production-oriented children’s theatre workshop under the Guru Shishya Parampara (Repertory Grant) scheme of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, at its theatre studio in GanderbalAZAD Dramatic & Cultural Club Organizes 3-Week Children’s Theatre Workshop in Ganderbal. The workshop will continue till January 10.

On the first day, children from various areas of the district participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm. The programme aims to introduce children to theatre, enhance communication and public speaking skills, and create awareness about Kashmiri culture to ensure its preservation for future generations.

The organizers appealed to children and parents to actively participate in the workshop.

A participating child said that the 21-day workshop has begun and expressed happiness about being a part of it, adding that they learned many new things about Kashmiri culture on the very first day.

Meanwhile, a local resident welcomed the initiative, describing it as a positive step towards children’s personality development. He urged parents to encourage their children to attend such programmes, stating that theatre workshops help build confidence, creativity, and cultural awareness among young participants.
