FULL DRESS REHEARSAL FOR FORTHCOMING REPUBLIC DAY–2026 HELD AT QAMARIYA STADIUM, GANDERBAL

GANDERBAL: 24th JANUARY, 2026 In preparation for the forthcoming Republic Day–2026, a Full Dress Rehearsal was held today at the Madr-e-Meharbaan Stadium, Qamariya, Ganderbal with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

The ceremony was presided over by ADDC Ganderbal, Shri Manzoor Ahmad Bhat–JKAS who unfurled the National Flag. He was accompanied by Addl. SP Ganderbal, Shri Owaise Loun–JKPS, and inspected the parade contingents participating in the rehearsal.

The march-past was led by Dy.SP Rakesh Singh, with contingents from various forces putting up an impressive and disciplined display. The participating contingents included District Police Ganderbal, JKAP 14th Battalion, PTS Manigam, CRPF 49th, 115th & 118th Battalions, SSB 4th & 63rd Battalions, DPL Women, Forest Protection Force, Home Guards, Police Band DPL Ganderbal, JK Sainik School Manasbal Band, and SPO’s.

Adding vibrant colour to the event, students from various schools of the district participated in the parade with remarkable zeal. The rehearsal also witnessed captivating cultural performances presented by students and youth clubs from different educational institutions of District Ganderbal, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and unity in diversity.

A large gathering of people witnessed the rehearsal and applauded the well-coordinated arrangements, reflecting the collective spirit and patriotic enthusiasm ahead of *Republic Day celebrations.*
