Assistant Director FPF Mohd Yousuf Magray Awarded Best Nodal Officer on Republic Day

Ganderbal, Jan 27 : In recognition of his exemplary service and dedicated coordination during the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, Mr Mohd Yousuf Magray, Assistant Director, Forest Protection Force and Nodal Officer for Ponystand Baltal, was honoured with a memento by the District Administration Ganderbal on the occasion of Republic Day.

Mr Magray was conferred the title of Best Nodal Officer for his outstanding role in ensuring smooth management, coordination, and implementation of arrangements at the Ponystand Baltal during the annual pilgrimage, which is considered one of the most significant religious events in the region.

The felicitation ceremony was jointly conducted by DDC Chairperson Ganderbal, Mst Nuzhat Ishfaq; Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore (IAS); and Senior Superintendent of Police Ganderbal, Khalil Ahmad Poswal (JKPS), who lauded Mr Magray’s commitment, professionalism, and tireless efforts in facilitating a safe and well-managed yatra.

The district administration acknowledged that Mr Magray’s proactive approach, effective inter-departmental coordination, and on-ground supervision played a crucial role in ensuring the safety and convenience of pilgrims while maintaining environmental and forest protection norms in the sensitive Baltal area.
