Today, Senior officers including DC Kupwara, ADC Handwara, ACR Kupwara, SDM Lolab and Tehsildars reviewed snow clearance operations on ground as well as functioning of health institutions.
Electricity and drinking water restoration is progressing steadily in affected areas, with field teams addressing snowfall-induced disruptions and prioritizing essential installations.
The district holds sufficient pre-positioned food grain stocks in border and remote areas to meet needs for months ahead. No shortages of essential commodities are reported; LPG, petrol, and diesel remain adequately available district-wide.
All health institutions are operating normally, with ample medicines, emergency drugs, and oxygen support—especially in border and high-altitude zones. Ambulance services and medical staff deployed for prompt emergency response.
