The Vice Chancellor engaged extensively with students, responding to queries on career opportunities in geomatics, emerging domains such as Geo-AI and data science, and prospects across academia, industry, and government sectors. He encouraged students to adopt a multidisciplinary approach, continuously upgrade their technical competencies, and actively participate in research and field-based learning. Prof. Romshoo also appreciated the proactive initiatives of the Department of Geomatics in advancing quality teaching, research, and outreach.

Earlier, Dr. Tariq Abdullah, Head of the Department, presented a brief overview of the department, while Ar.
