RAMBAN, APRIL 07: The three-day district-level training programme for District and Charge Level Officers/Officials designated for Census 2027 Phase-I (House Listing and Housing Census–HLO) concluded today at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex Ramban.
The training programme was conducted in accordance with the guidelines of the Directorate of Census Operations, J&K, with the objective of capacity building of census functionaries at district and charge levels.
The sessions focused on sensitizing officers about their role and responsibilities, key concepts of House Listing Operations, hands-on training on HLB demarcation in maps and practical training on the Census Management & Monitoring System (CMMS) and HLBS web applications.
The training featured multiple sessions to ensure comprehensive coverage of all operational aspects for the smooth and efficient conduct of Census 2027 Phase-I.
Participants actively engaged in the sessions and gained valuable practical exposure to digital tools, HLB map demarcation and procedural frameworks. The programme concluded with interactive discussions, during which field-level challenges were addressed and operational queries clarified.
Among others present included SDM Banihal Mohammad Naseeb Bajraan; SDM Ramsoo Sayed Muzahir Hussain Shah; District Statistics & Evaluation Officer (Additional District Census Officer) Ashfaq-ur-Rehman; Tehsildars of Batote, Ukhral, Khari, Gool and Rajgarh; CEO MC Ramban, besides other concerned officers and officials.
The Resource persons and Master Trainers from the Directorate of Census Operations, J&K, including Nodal Officer Balbir Singh and District Coordinator Anish Sharma conducted the technical sessions during the training programme.
