Widening of Baroosa-Nawabagh road going at snail’s pace in Ganderbal

Ganderbal 09 Feb (KNZ):PMGSY department Ganderbal inagurated road widening from Baroosa to Nawabagh via Wakura village on the month of December 2022 but this work is going on in slow pace from last 2 months.
Locals said, the road which connects more than dozens villages of the area at cost of 6 crores.
Locals also said that the road is being constructed for better road connectivity for nearby villages.
They appealed Higher authorities to look into the matter
Assistant Executive Engineer PMGSY Mohd Rafiq told Kashmir News Zone-KNZ said ,we have already issued letter to concerned departments and we are waiting for their earliest response.
He also said locals not co-operate with department and we appealed residents to cut down trees as earliest otherwise will face action who Violates rules.KNZ
