DC Ganderbal inspects arrangements for Shab-i-Qadar and Navratra festivities

GANDERBAL, APRIL 06: Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shyambir, accompanied by SSP Ganderbal, Sandeep Gupta, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Gulzar Ahmad, conducted a comprehensive inspection of arrangements for smooth celebration both Shab-i-Qadar and the upcoming Navratra festival.
In light of the auspicious occasion of Shab-i-Qadar, the DC visited the Markazi Jamia Masjid Beehama and Qamaria Mosque Saloora to personally assess the preparations underway. Interacting with the intizamiya committees, the DC ensured that all necessary facilities and amenities are in place for the peaceful celebration of Shab-i-Qadar. He also reassured the committees of the administration’s commitment to providing essential services such as sanitation, power, and water supply.
 SSP Ganderbal, Sandeep Gupta, affirmed that security arrangements have been effectively implemented to ensure a safe environment for all.
Additionally, the DC paid a visit to the Kherbawani temple at Tullamulla to inspect the arrangements for the upcoming Navratra festival, scheduled to commence on April 9.
 Interacting with representatives of the Dharmat trust, he received updates on the preparations and issued necessary directives to concerned departments to ensure seamless arrangements well in time for the devotees, minimizing any inconvenience that may occur.
The DC maintained that the district administration remains dedicated to facilitating the smooth conduct of religious festivities, fostering communal harmony and ensuring the well-being of all residents and devotees alike.
