Jammu, September 28(GNS): A head constable was killed while as an assistant Sub Inspector of Police was injured in an ongoing encounter in Billwar area of Kathua district.
An official told GNS that during intial firefight, a head constable was killed also one assistant sub-inspector of Police was injured.
The injured ASI was immediately evacuated to hospital for advanced treatment, they said.
Meanwhile, the operation in the area was underway when this story was being filed.(GNS)
