Asks Govt to ensure adequate electricity supply

Srinagar, Dec 21 (KNO): JKPC President and MLA Handwara, Sajad Lone Saturday said that the power outages in bone chilling winters in Kashmir valley was making records.

Taking to microblogging site X, Lone as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said, “With temperatures plunging to record low levels, electricity outages are creating their own records.” (SIC)

“Electricity supply is at its elusive best. And when and if electricity supply is actually restored, consistency for the supplied duration is a rarity,” he said.

Lone further said, “The people are suffering. It is biting cold. It is a request to please make arrangements for more supply.”

The MLA further added, “Demand is going to be high. It is very very cold. Don’t expect the demand to go down.”

“Supply is a problem. Purchase from wherever. Please ensure adequate electricity supply,” he said—(KNO)
