Due to poor visibility, Airlines Re-schedule flight operations at Srinagar Airport after 10 AM: Officials
Srinagar, Jan 4 (JKNS): Dense fog engulfed parts of Kashmir for the second consecutive day on Saturday, disrupting air transport at Srinagar International Airport.
Flight operations at the airport were disrupted this morning due to dense fog and reduced visibility.
An official at the airport told news agency JKNS that all airlines have rescheduled their morning flights, with operations now set to commence after 10:00 AM. The poor visibility caused by the fog has disrupted the normal schedule.
Early this morning, drivers were observed using fog lights and driving cautiously.
It is important to mention that the Meteorological Department has predicted moderate rainfall and snowfall across Jammu and Kashmir, with heavy snowfall expected in some higher reaches. (JKNS)
