Kulgam, Feb 11 In an overnight burglary attempt, thieves tried to steal a cash-laden ATM machine in Arreh village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam, officials said on Tuesday.
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) thieves used a cutter to loot money from the ATM but their attempt failed.
“The ATM has been damaged to some extent, but the cash is safe,” the official added.
He said that the police have taken the cognizance and investigation has commenced.
“Forensic team is collecting samples. The CCTV footage is also being examined,” he added.—(KNO)
