Srinagar, February 25, 2025: An Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) was successfully conducted in Bemina, Srinagar, under the National Handicrafts Development Programme. Organized by M/s Dastkaar Handicraft Producer Company Limited and sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the event aimed to equip artisans and entrepreneurs in the handicrafts sector with essential business skills.
The programme focused on key areas such as business planning, marketing strategies, and financial management. Participants had the opportunity to showcase their handcrafted products and receive expert feedback, helping them enhance their market potential.
The event was graced by prominent officials, including Mr Shahid Ali mirza deputy director Directorate of handicrafts and handloom UT of jk, Mr Mohammad rafiq sheikh
Asst director Office of DC handicrafts, Handicraft Promotion Officer Mr. Sachin Yadav, and Managing Director of M/s Dastkaar Handicraft Producer Company Limited, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Shah. Their presence underscored the government’s commitment to supporting and uplifting artisans through structured training and development initiatives.
