Mission Yuva: Orientation program for SBDU, BHDs, Yuva Doots held at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, MARCH 06: A one-day orientation program under Mission YUVA was today organized for members of the Small Business Development Unit (SBDU), Business Help Desk (BHD) and Yuva Doots at the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal.

The program was presided over by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, along with Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Gulzar Ahmad.

The session aimed to equip participants with a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities in implementing the institutional business support mechanism under Mission Yuva, fostering self-employment and entrepreneurship in the district.

At the outset, Assistant Director, Employment, delivered a comprehensive presentation, outlining the specific duties of each committee member. The orientation covered key aspects of financial, legal, and market advisory support to budding entrepreneurs, ensuring an efficient and well-coordinated execution of the Mission Yuva initiative.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC emphasized the need for a strong support system for potential entrepreneurs, ensuring they receive comprehensive guidance in their journey towards self-employment. He stressed the importance of teamwork, clarity of responsibilities, and seamless coordination among all stakeholders for the successful implementation of the project.

The program featured expert-led sessions, providing insights into the operational framework of Mission Yuva and highlighting the pivotal role of Yuva Doots in driving grassroots-level engagement.

Interactive discussions allowed participants to address queries, gain clarity on various aspects of the mission, and share valuable inputs.

The event was attended by SDM Kangan, Assistant Director DE&CC, LDM, and other officials, reaffirming their commitment to empowering youth and strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ganderbal.
